You must be 16 or over to apply for this role. If you are under 18, you could be scheduled to work up to 11pm. If you’re over 18, our operating hours do change, and you could finish between 11.30pm to 3am if we have midnight screenings.

Some, but not all of our cinemas offer work experience placements. This depends solely on their operations and availability. Visit your local ODEON and speak to a member of the leadership team about placement opportunities.
Some things to consider before visiting the cinema:
- Our cinemas have different operating hours, but many don’t open until 4pm. This means you won’t be able to complete 9-5 hours.
- Our peak business is in the evenings and weekends, so prepare to have some of your shifts during these times.
- Please think about how you will safely get to and from the cinema, especially after dark.
- Your placement will have a guest service focus, which looks fantastic on your CV.
-
Unfortunately, we cannot accept speculative CVs. However, you can sign up for job alerts, which will be emailed to you when the vacancy of your choice is advertised.

We have been made aware of scams from third parties claiming to recruit for ODEON. These are fraudulent and will often ask for an upfront fee to begin reviewing. This is a type of “advance fee fraud,” where scammers solicit payment with false promises of work. ODEON does not endorse these roles, and all legitimate job opportunities are available exclusively through the official ODEON careers website.
Protect yourself by researching any company offering online jobs, avoiding unsolicited links, and never paying fees upfront. Report suspicious activity to Action Fraud or confirm legitimate ODEON roles at jointheteam@odeonuk.com
